DVD presentations
in your Real Estate sales suite
by Steve Bell, Archiform 3D
DVDs are currently the best way to display animations
and video
productions. They have basic interactive abilities
and superb quality. You don't need to play a DVD from beginning
to end as they can navigate to any section of the presentation.
Some people think DVDs are just a superior form of video
playback, an evolution of video tapes, but many now know
they can do much more.
DVDs are an amazing aid to the real estate sales suite.
They can contain fly-through vaniamtions, video productions,
static images and floor plans. Indeed, everythng that can
go on a brochure can now go onto a DVD and they can almost
have the same interaction as a CD presention or the internet.
But I have constantly seen sales suites being configured
incorrectly. There are some issues, very simple issues,
that need to be addressed when setting up a DVD presentation
sales suite.
Location of the screen
Choose a location that has enough room for people to stand
around and gather. People don't want to squeeze into a
corner and if you want to catch their attention you need
to ensure they are comfortable enough to stop and take
a look.
Ensure that there is no glare on the viewing screen and
that there isn't too much light. Darker rooms are a little
too eerie, but brighter rooms will degrade the quality
of the picture.
