Delivery and use of Archiform 3D video and 3D footage
We gladly provide our 3D footage as broadcast quality digital
movie files for use in other productions. We no longer deliver
any taped footage and only deliver digitally. This can be via CD,
DVD or the internet. File formats can be WMV, QuickTime, MPEG or
as image sequences. By default we deliver high quality QuickTime
files. Original video files are created as widescreen PAL format
and are converted to NTSC for projects within locations that broadcast
NTSC footage or predominantly have NTSC consumer displays. Unless
you instruct differently all footage for the USA is provided as
NTSC.
Our work must not be represented as being created by or as the
portfolio of another company. An example is a showreel or presentation
by another video production, 3d or advertising company that may
use some of our work that is combined with another project. In
this case we require that a certified watermark logo that is clear,
legible and noticeable be placed in one corner of the presentation
whilst our work is being shown. We may supply you with suitable,
approved logos upon request.
If the images or footage is to be used only within the project
that they were created for then there is no requirement for our
logo to be shown. However, if the production has any credits or
identification as to the authors then we require we be identified
using our certified logo for a timeframe and level of visibility
that allows a view to identify us. This requirement does not extend
to a production where only the project owner or marketing agents
are shown. The purpose of this is to ensure that our work is not
passed of as being another's and to prevent gain by other companies
or individuals by unfairly using our work.
It is not our policy to charge any license fees for the re-use
of our work however this should be confirmed before you publish
or display anything we prepare outside of materials for the specific
project that our work was created for.
