Sunset at Galloway
The Sunset at Galloway project, located in Miami, Florida, has
recently been added to our 3D gallery. Combining photography and
3D artwork our finished renderings are realistic and warm. The
natural ambient lighting of the sunset is replicated in the Galloway
scene to create warmth to what is just another commercial building
on a busy street.
But despite the great result the Sunset at Galloway job went weird.
How come? Well, after weeks of changes to the colors and design
the client decided to completely change the design altogether.
Unfortunately this client has also decided that he should not pay
for all the work that went into us doing artwork for his original
design and variations - after all he wasnt going to need them anymore,
so we guess he didnt think he should pay.
Sunset at Galloway has turned into a lesson in getting money
up front. We all live and learn, and Sunset at Galloway is a typical
example of a distasteful yet educational experience.
Steve Bell states "While
initially trying to avoid this project I should have stayed with
my gut feeling that these people would be trouble. From standing
me up at meetings, to constant changes to the design it shows that
first impressions really are the most important".
