A recent trend worldwide to reduce
traffic, urban sprawl and increase the quality of life
of residents is to integrate homes, offices and retail
into communities and towns. While this was very popular
up to the early 1900’s it was lost in time, with many people
now driving long distances to work and getting in their
car to do something as simple as buying some milk.
Local
authorities and property developers are now faced with
what is almost an entire re-education of home/office buyers,
and 3D is a perfect way to teach. From street front to
attic an entire concept can be shown and even acted out,
showing people that integrated buildings/homes are not
just an alternative to living but an improvement on it.
Archiform 3D prepared a series of 3D Architectural Renderings
and
3D animation that displayed the classical architecture of
the exterior and the warmth of the interior. Particular
to this project is that unlike so many developments of
today, Delannoy Square focusses on a property that looks
and feels "real" and like a home. From an artist's perspective these
kinds of projects come as a refreshing break from projects
that may be cutting edge in design but devoid of character.
Envisioning in 3D allowed our client to not just develop
the design but also present it to the market.
