3D Images of Interior Designs

Archiform 3D's approach to interior 3D Images gives a detailed and life-like result. Each item of furniture is carefully modelled in 3D from pictures or catalogues and includes representations of original fabric samples. Decorator and small accessories are also created in 3D and placed thoughfully within the scene. Lighting is then added with attention to realism, shadowing and highlights.

The carefull combining of these skills often give 3D Images that are more appealing than actual photographs. Our interior 3D Animations are done to the same Photo-Perfect quality as our still 3D Images .

3D Images of Living Room Scenes

Of all interior apartment or house scenes, it is the living rooms, such as the lounge, grand salon and family rooms, that take up the most time. They are the focus of every day living and contain more varied elements than other rooms. There are so many possibilities within these rooms so they are often the hardest for a designer to explain and detail in a brief.

The nature of the furniture within these rooms makes them difficult to model in 3D. The detailed free-flowing curves and fabrics of some furniture pieces, such as sofas, can be surprisingly difficult to model perfectly in 3D. And items such as light fittings and window treatments can also be extremely time consuming.

3D artists can get some pleasure out of these scenes, despite the complexity. This can be found in the frequent need for free-hand creativity to warm a scene’s mood or style. Small and large details such as vases, books, window treatments and personal items make a scene look more like a home.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

This 3D Image has the actual view from the project, which is a perfect way of displaying what a purchaser of a pre-construction condo, office or home will actually see. There are two methods to achieve this; as a flat 2D image applied to the background or as a 360-degree panoramic photograph wrapped around like a drum. The two methods have an effect on the overall price to do the job and specific advantages.

The reduced location and photography costs make simple 2D backgrounds appealing for still 3D Images . The drawback is that this method shows no motion or change in view within an Animation. If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions. This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly. Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.
