Family and lounge rooms are the most painstaking 3D renderings and animations to create within a house, condo or apartment. They contain more varied detail, are larger rooms, often cover more than one living space and are the focus of day-to-day living within the home. They are also the most difficult for a designer or architect to prepare a detailed brief for, so it’s hard for our 3D artists to get perfect immediately.

Furniture and accessories can also be hard work to model in 3D within these areas. The many free-flowing curves and ornate fabrics of some furniture items, such as lounge chairs and sofas, can be unusually difficult to model in 3D. And items such as light fittings and window treatments can also be extremely time consuming.

What is exciting about these scenes is the scope for creativity. This can be found in the frequent need for free-hand creativity to warm a scene’s mood or style. Rugs, pictures, drapes and small personal items in the scene warm the 3D Rendering and give our artists some room for expression.

3D Kitchen Scenes

A 3D kitchen scene is often deceivingly complex in it’s creation. Their design specifications can vary greatly and the choice of materials is vast. This is because unlike living or dining rooms they are part of the building structure and therefore an inclusion within the sale.

The 3D structure is created from the plans and elevations that you provide to us. We also need details and pictures of the surfaces being used, the doors panels and the electrical appliances. Personalised and small decoration items are then added to the scene to bring life and warmth.

Combining Real Views with Pieces of 3D Art

This 3D Architectural Image has the actual view from the project, which is a perfect way of displaying what a purchaser of a pre-construction condo, office or home will actually see. We can do this in 2 ways; a flat 2D image applied behind the scene or a 360-degree image wrapped around the 3D model. The two methods have an effect on the overall price to do the job and specific advantages.

A simple 2D image put into the scene is the easiest to do, as the single shot can be taken in many different inexpensive ways. But when used in animations a 2D image doesn’t show any motion with the camera. If the viewpoint changes in any direction the view doesn’t change, which is not a visually appealing result.

The costs to acquire 360-degree panoramic images are higher than normal photography due to additional time, extra equipment and further manipulation in the studio. The increased visual scope gives excellent results for animations as when the 3D camera turns within the scene the view changes with it. We can take either 2D or 360-degree images for you at an additional fee or you can supply your own.
