3D Images of Interior Scenes

Archiform 3D's interior 3D Images and 3D Animations are high-quality and detailed. Each piece of furniture is carefully modelled from originals and includes original fabric samples. Smaller items like pictures, curtains, vases and decorator items are then added to the scene. After the furniture and accessories are added we carefully light the scene for mood and effect.

The combinaton of these creates 3D Images and 3D Animations that are often better looking than reality. What is worth remembering is that our fly-through 3D animations of these interior scenes is to the same Photo-Perfect 3D quality as our still 3D Images .

How We Create 3D Images of Bedrooms

Our goal with bedroom renderings is to create a room that you can imagine yourself really sleeping and waking in. We do this by working on the Camera Angle, the realism and the lighting. The viewer should see a familiar approach to the room and bed, with possibly something appealing, like a balcony, window or an inspiring view. And while most people would assume that night time lighting is always best, the soft morning light shining on the floor can portray a place that is a new awakening.

The soft parts of a bed such as the covers and pillows are the most painstaking items to model in a bedroom 3D Image or animation. They must have the imperfections and softness that a real bed has, right down to bumps and wrinkles. Computer 3D Modelling is best at straight shapes or regular curves, so a finished bed is harder to create than most other pieces of furniture. Adding the fabric to the bed covers can also be painstaking as they often form part of an overall shape or pattern.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

This scene has the real view from the actual project, which is a superb way of displaying what a buyer will actually see from a new condo, office or home. There are two ways that this can be done; as a flat 2D picture applied to the background or as a 360-degree panorama. Both techniques have advantages and disadvantages, ranging from a lower price to a better result in 3D Animations.

A simple 2D photographic background costs less to capture and is suited to still 3D Images . Unfortunately using this method means the view cant move with the 3D Camera if you wish to animate the scene. If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions. This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly. Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.
