Kitchen 3D Renderings

A 3D kitchen scene is often deceivingly complex in it’s creation. They usually contain detailed cabinets, fixtures and built-in electrical appliances that must be visualized perfectly. This is due to the fact that unlike living rooms they are built into the development and therefore a critical part of the sale.

You need to provide elevations and plans of the cabinets for us to create the structure in 3D. We also need details such as the doors, the types of fittings, appliances and all hard surfaces. Lastly we add the personal touches such as small appliances, plates, plants and decoration.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

You will see in this Computer Generated Image that the real view from this scene is incorporated. We can do this in 2 ways; a flat 2D image applied behind the scene or a 360-degree image wrapped around the 3D model. The two methods have an effect on the overall price to do the job and specific advantages.

A flat 2D image put into the background is the easiest to do, as it is one shot that can be taken in many different ways and often costs less due to reduced location costs. Unfortunately using this method means the view cant move with the camera if you wish to animate the scene. If the camera changes the direction it is looking at the view doesn’t change, which is not a desirable result.

The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions. This technique yields the best quality result for animations as the view adjusts to the aspect of the virtual camera. Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.
