From the Element project

A kitchen scene. What is noticeable is the bold bench top colour. Strong colours come particularly well in 3D, with all white scenes being he hardest to make look appealing.

3D Images of Interior Scenes

Our interior 3D Images are highly detailed, rich in quality and inspirational. Each item of furniture is carefully modelled in 3D from pictures or catalogues and includes representations of original fabric samples. Smaller items like pictures, curtains, vases and decorator items are then added to the scene. Lighting is then added with attention to realism, shadowing and highlights.

This carefull combination of skills produces 3D Images that are more inspiring than real photographs. What is worth remembering is that our fly-through 3D animations of these interior scenes is to the same Photo-Perfect 3D quality as our still 3D Images .

Kitchen 3D Images

The perfection of kitchen 3D Images can often be more difficult than you may imagine. They are made from a wide choice of finishes and details, all of which must be accurately portrayed. This is due to the fact that unlike living rooms they are built into the development and therefore a critical part of the sale.

To prepare the interior 3D Images we require detailed plans and elevations of the fixtures and cabinets. We also need details such as the doors, the types of fittings, appliances and all hard surfaces. Once we have modelled everything in 3D we decorate with small household and personal items, which you are free to specify from a catalogue or pictures.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

This 3D Image has the actual view from the project, which is a perfect way of displaying what a purchaser of a pre-construction condo, office or home will actually see. There are two ways that this can be done; as a flat 2D picture applied to the background or as a 360-degree panorama. Both techniques have advantages and disadvantages, ranging from a lower price to a better result in 3D Animations.

A simple 2D photographic background costs less to capture and is suited to still 3D Images . The downfall to this method is that it shows no motion or change in within an Animation. If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions. This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly. Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.
