3D Images of Interior Scenes

Archiform 3D's careful and meticulous approach to interior 3D Images gives a life-like result. Each item of furniture is carefully modelled in 3D from pictures or catalogues and includes representations of original fabric samples. Smaller items like pictures, curtains, vases and decorator items are then added to the scene. Lighting is then added with attention to realism, shadowing and highlights.

This combination often gives better visual results than reality as we are not restricted to the limitations of traditional or modern photography. Our 3D virtual tour animations are rendered to the same Photo-Perfect standard as our still image 3D Images .

How We Create 3D Images of Bedrooms

Our goal with bedroom renderings is to create a room that you can imagine yourself really sleeping and waking in. We achieve this by planning Camera Angles, detailing for realism and lighting with mood. The viewer should see a familiar approach to the room and bed, with possibly something appealing, like a balcony, window or an inspiring view. And while most people would assume that night time lighting is always best, the soft morning light shining on the floor can portray a place that is a new awakening.

The soft parts of a bed such as the covers and pillows are the most painstaking items to model in a bedroom 3D Image or animation. They must have the imperfections and softness that a real bed has, right down to bumps and wrinkles. This becomes difficult in that computers and 3D software are best at straight edges and normal curves, so a free form, almost organic shape is harder to model. The 3D Modelling is not the only complex task as applying the fabrics to the bed can be challenging, especially if there is a pattern or mural that must be maintained.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

This 3D Image has the actual view from the project, which is a perfect way of displaying what a purchaser of a pre-construction condo, office or home will actually see. There are two methods to achieve this; as a flat 2D image applied to the background or as a 360-degree panoramic photograph wrapped around like a drum. Both techniques have advantages and disadvantages, ranging from a lower price to a better result in 3D Animations.

A simple 2D photographic background costs less to capture and is suited to still 3D Images . Unfortunately using this method means the view cant move with the 3D Camera if you wish to animate the scene. If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions. This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly. Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.
