Our interior Architectural Renderings are highly detailed and rich in quality and inspiration. The 3D furniture is created from pictures of the actual pieces, modelled into 3D and textured with your choice of fabrics and materials. Almost any decorator item can then be added to the scene, such as lamps, light fittings and curtains. Lighting is then added with attention to realism, shadowing and highlights.

The combinaton of these creates 3D Art and animations that are often better looking than reality. What is noteworthy is that we create fly-through animations of interior scenes to the same quality as our Pieces of Architectural 3D Art .

Interior living room scenes, like lounges, grand salons and family rooms are the most intensive of an apartment, condominium unit or house to create. They aren’t just larger rooms but they contain more varied detail and sometimes extend into other living areas. They are also the most difficult for a designer or architect to prepare a detailed brief for, so it’s hard for our 3D artists to get perfect immediately.

Furniture and accessories can also be painstaking to model in these rooms. The many free-flowing curves and ornate fabrics of some furniture items, such as lounge chairs and sofas, can be unusually difficult to model in 3D. This can also be particularly true for pieces such as indoor plants and sculptures, which have minute detail but are often a major part of a rendering or animation.

3D artists can get some pleasure out of these scenes, despite the complexity. This is usually in the small items and artwork that enhances what may be an incomplete design brief. Drapes, personal items, pictures and other small items make a room look like it isn’t just a display but it could actually be lived in.

Incorporating Real Views with Architectural Renderings

This 3D Art shows the actual view from the scene. We can do this in 2 ways; a flat 2D image applied behind the scene or a 360-degree image wrapped around the 3D model. Both techniques have their advantages.

A simple 2D image put into the scene is the easiest to do, as the single shot can be taken in many different inexpensive ways. But when used in fly-through video a 2D backdrop doesn’t show any movement with the camera. If a virtual reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The costs to acquire 360-degree panoramic images are higher than normal photography due to additional time, extra equipment and further manipulation in the studio. This method gives the best result for animations as when the virtual camera turns the view adjusts accordingly. We can take either 2D or 360-degree images for you at an additional fee or you can supply your own.
