3D Architectural Images of Living Room Scenes

Of all interior apartment or house scenes, it is the living rooms, such as the lounge, grand salon and family rooms, that take up the most time. They have more features, are bigger rooms, usually cover more than one living space and are the center of everyday living in the home. The many levels of decoration and possibilities for colours and fabrics means that these rooms are also hard for a client to describe in a brief.

Furniture and accessories can also be painstaking to model in these rooms. This is because of the complex shapes and curves that form items like sofas and lounge chairs, which require effort to get both the shape and textures perfect. This can also be particularly true for pieces such as indoor plants and sculptures, which have minute detail but are often a major part of a rendering or animation.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

This 3D Architectural Image shows the actual view from the scene. There are two ways that this can be done; as a flat 2D picture applied to the background or as a 360-degree panorama. The two methods have an effect on the overall price to do the job and specific advantages.

A flat 2D image put into the background is the easiest to do, as it is one shot that can be taken in many different ways and often costs less due to reduced location costs. But when used in fly-through video a 2D backdrop doesn’t show any movement with the camera. If the camera changes the direction it is looking at the view doesn’t change, which is not a desirable result.

The location and photography costs to get 360-degree panoramic images are higher than normal photography as the final result sees everything in the horizontal plane. This method gives the best result for animations as when the virtual camera turns the view adjusts accordingly. We can take either 2D or 360-degree images for you at an additional fee or you can supply your own.
