Unlike dining, living or bedrooms, kitchens are part of the overall built-in product of a condominium or home, so accurate depiction is imperative.

To create the 3D Images we need to receive detailed plans and elevations of the cabinets. We also require specifications such as the doors, the fixtures, built-in appliances and all surfaces.Once we have constructed this in 3D we normally decorate them with a few household items, which you are free to specify from a catalogue or pictures.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

This scene has the real view from the actual project, which is a superb way of displaying what a buyer will actually see from a new condo, office or home. There are 2 choices in how we do this; a simple 2D image put behind the scene or a 360-degree panorama encompassing the 3D Scene.Both techniques have their advantages.

A flat 2D image put into the background is the easiest to do, as it is one shot that can be taken in many different ways and often costs less due to reduced location costs. But when used in fly-through video a 2D backdrop doesn’t show any movement with the 3D Camera. If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions. This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly. Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.

The Technique of Multiple 3D Images from One Scene

Archiform 3D works on a Price by Scene policy, which means we charge by the scene, not by the 3D Image . While we have discounts for just one image of a scene, getting a series of images works out to be far more cost-effective. This 3D Image is a typical example of this policy, meaning that the client has paid for a 3D Scene and obtained multiple images for the same fixed price. The perfect scenario for this is when you need more than one image for a marketing campaign or you need to produce a complete set of pictures to completely show a development.
