Oceans (2004)

A beachfront hi-rise resort on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. We created 3D renderings and animations of the exterior, a retail area and interior of 2 apartments. This also involved view capture and photomontage work. Our client saw the advantages of using our complete service and our "complete scene" workflow.

All interior Archiform 3D renderings are pure 3D with no photo objects and are radiosity rendered. The animations have the same quality as the stills, giving us a clear lead in moving picture presentations and providing a complete set of portfolio of images for each project within the normal price structure.

Although the client didn't order photomontage we saw it as such a good opportunity and so worthwhile we shot it while onsite doing the views. We pride ourselves on over-delivering through our scene building techniques rather than nitpicking over inclusions. Also note the camera tracking n the beginning of the movie (WMV format) that shows the building blended into real aerial footage.

The two photomontage shots, one from the oceanfront and one at night are typical of our philosophy of telling a story. Professional photography isn't just about having a great camera, it's knowing how and when to use it.

As can be seen in this presentation, the interior scheme chosen by the client is very white, modern and minimalist.

Exterior 3D Renderings

Creating an external 3D Image requires the combination of many elements. Trees and plants are extremely important to every external scene. Archiform 3D creates detailed models of plants down to the leaf. This consumes more effort than the typical flat face plants that competing companies use, but the final 3D results are superior. 3D Renderings are improved, but walk-through 3D animations is where the additional attention is most visible.It’s what makes our work the Photo-Perfect standard that clients expect.

3D Images Created Using Photomontage Techniques

If the surrounding site and views are attractive then your building design may look best rendering into a photograph. 3D Photomontage is the combining of a photograph with 3D Images , blending the two to form a highly realistic picture. Usually mistaken for a finished development, these Photo-Perfect 3D Architectural Renderings are indistinguishable from reality. The original photos can be taken from anywhere and at any time. We mask around existing features that need to be shown and we can add new ones too. We can also shoot the photos for you, which may requires= a full day shoot to capture the essence of the location. Interior 3D Renderings

Archiform 3Ds interior 3D Architectural Renderings and Fly-Through Animations are high-quality and are carefully detailed. The furniture is created from pictures of the originals, translated into 3D and textured with your choice of colors and fabrics. Decoratoration items and personal accessories are also created in 3D and placed carefully throughout the scenes. We then light the scene to enhance realism and create dramatic effects.

The removal of all traditional photography limitations often means our 3D Images are even better than reality. Our fly-through animations are done to the same Photo-Perfect quality as our 3D Renderings .
