The greatest form of Flattery
Innovators will always have a flock of imitators
to follow them. We suppose this helps keep the prices down as they
fight to gain market share in the architectural
visualization and
rendering industry. But an imitator will never experience the exhilaration
of devising a new technique and seeing it go to use in the real
world, and their clients will never be in the forefront of what
is really capable in this information age.
What most imitators don't understand is the process
of developing a useful and attractive technique. Archiform 3D looks
at everything in this industry with an open mind and a little bit
of skepticism. We "work" it, mess around with it, prototype
it, test it, implement it and then we let you, our clients, know
about it with a sample, price and timeline. It's all part of what
we see as fun.
When we complete an architectural presentation
we ask "what could we do to make it better next time?".
We maintain close relationships with our clients to see how our
work performs, how it is used and how people respond. We consider
that there is always room for improvement, regardless of how small
the issue may appear. We look for and are constantly improving:
- The quality of architecural presentation
- The ease of use and functionality
- Effectiveness of the delivery
- The richness of content
- Production times
- Work and time required to modify the project
due to design changes
- Value for money and return on investment to
our client
- Our own profitability
To be honest, sometimes we see a great technique
from an unrelated company. But we still innovate, looking for how
we can apply that to our clients and how we can make it better,
faster and more economical.
When we come across a seemingly impossible hurdle
we delight in finding a breakthrough. Late nights of beer, pizza
and computers will often breakdown any problem and at the same
time devise new techniques that will benefit our clients in many
other ways. Maybe imitators don't drink beer or eat pizza....
We see imitation as a form of flattery but sometimes,
unlike beer and pizza, it's a little hard to swallow. Some imitators
don't just copy our phrases, ideas, and strategies - they copy
our web pages word for word and our graphic styles.
Archiform 3D will always strive for innovation,
because it brings our clients to the forefront of marketing and
just because we get a kick out of it!
